  • All items are handmade keepsakes and are not toys. They are not suitable for children under 14 years old.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that any clothing or materials provided are clean and in good condition.

  • Sew Donna is not liable for damage, loss, or delays caused by third-party delivery services.

  • Colours, fabrics, and finished products may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the items and the materials provided.

  • Any personalisation (names, dates, embroidery details) will be completed exactly as provided by the customer. Sew Donna cannot accept responsibility for errors supplied incorrectly.

  • By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these terms and accept full responsibility for the safe use and handling of your keepsake.

Terms & Conditions 

At Sew Donna, every memory bear and keepsake is handmade with care. Here are a few things to know before placing your order:

  • Unique & Handmade – Each item is lovingly made by hand and may vary slightly from the photos shown.

  • Your Clothing – Please send items clean and in good condition. Any spares can be returned if requested.

  • Not Toys – Memory bears and keepsakes are for decoration only and not suitable for children under 14.

  • Orders & Payment – Full payment is required to secure your order. Once work has started, cancellations are not always possible.

  • Turnaround Time – I’ll give you an estimated completion time when you order and will keep you updated if anything changes.

  • No Returns – As these are custom-made from your own clothing, I cannot accept returns or refunds unless faulty.

  • Care – Keep your keepsake safe, handle gently, and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

  • Delivery – Please use tracked delivery when sending your items. I cannot be held responsible for items lost or delayed in the post.

  • Personalisation – Double-check names, dates, and details before sending—these will be stitched exactly as provided.

The Ordering Process

Step One – Choosing Your Clothing
Start by gathering the special clothes you’d like transformed into your keepsake.

  • Memory Bears / Cats & Dogs from baby clothing: around 6 items

  • Memory Bears / Cats & Dogs from adult clothing: 3-4 items

  • Memory Unicorns & Ponies: around 6 items​

Step Two – How to Order

  • Add to basket 

  • Add a name or date if required

  • Email me with any further requests or call to chat about how you would like your keepsake to look

  • ​

Step Three – Sending Your Clothing
Carefully post your clothing to me, including a note with your name and any special instructions. If you’re local, a drop-off option is also available.
Once your order is placed, I’ll email you confirmation with all the details you need to send your items safely.

When Your Clothing Arrives
I’ll send you a message to let you know your items have arrived safely.

Creating Your Keepsake
Your fabrics will be carefully prepared, lined, and stabilised to make them strong and long-lasting. If you’d like certain fabrics or details placed in a particular way, simply include your request in your note.
Once complete, your keepsake will be sent via Royal Mail 48hr Tracked for peace of mind and safe delivery.
